Consulting & Research Areas

  • When to use this: You’re launching a study/program and want equity built into the design from day one.

    What we do: refine research questions, strengthen community engagement plans, reduce participant burden, improve feasibility, align measures with equity goals.

    Example Deliverables: study design, engagement/recruitment plan, implementation roadmap, measurement/evaluation plan.

  • When to use this: Partnerships feel fragile, unclear, or extractive or you want to build a sustainable model for future partnerships.

    What we do: partnership structure, roles/expectations, reciprocity practices, trust-building processes, advisory board design.

    Deliverables: partnership/MOU templates, community engagement playbook, governance and decision-making structure.

  • When to use this: Enrollment/retention is lagging, especially among historically excluded groups.

    What we do: diagnose barriers via research, optimize messaging and channels, strengthen recruitment workflows, build retention systems and feedback loops.

    Deliverables: recruitment/retention strategy, messaging toolkit, site/team workflow recommendations, participant experience improvements.

  • When to use this: You need the initiative to run well and prove impact.

    What we do: implementation planning, qualitative feedback loops, rapid-cycle learning, evaluation design, stakeholder reporting.

    Deliverables: implementation plan, evaluation framework, interview guides, rapid analysis summaries, actionable recommendations.

  • When to use this: You have equity goals, but not a clear path to execution or you need accountability and measurement.

    What we do: clarify goals, align strategy to operations, define metrics, build an action plan that survives real constraints.

    Deliverables: equity strategy map, prioritized action plan, metrics dashboard outline, communication plan.

I believe that equity isn’t something we sprinkle in after the strategy is written. It’s the framework that shapes how we ask questions, design programs, build culture, and measure success. I work with people and institutions who are ready to move differently, to design research, leadership, and organizational systems that reflect the communities they serve and the values they hold.
